Knightstone Court
Repairs to the wall were necessary as the foundations of the flats were within the active failure zone of the wall and some minor cracking was beginning to occur to the properties as the wall deflected.
As only a limited amount of land was available below the wall due to a public footpath, a piled King Post toed into mudstone below ground was constructed, connected to a reinforced concrete capping beam and reinforced concrete stem wall, which was then dressed in a local stone to match the existing site walls.
